Marksman 50 Years
Celebrating a Milestone
Years of Precision
1976 — 2026
Half a century of family ownership, faith-driven values, and unwavering commitment to the craft of precision metal fabrication.
Five Decades of Craft
In 1976, Peter Scharber set out with a simple idea: that hands-on experience, attention to detail, and an honest day’s work were the foundation of quality manufacturing.
Fifty years later, that idea still drives every part we make. Through two generations of Scharber family leadership, Marksman Metals has grown from a small shop in Minnesota into a state-of-the-art precision fabricator serving electronics, medical, military and aerospace, agriculture, and industrial customers across the country.
What hasn’t changed is the foundation. The same Faith, Family, and Giving principles that Pete and Flori Scharber built this company on in 1976 guide our decisions today. Morality. Fair-dealings. Stewardship. Service. These aren’t slogans on a wall — they are how we choose customers, treat our team, and run our floor.
Fifty years is a long time to keep something this consistent. We’re proud to have done it the right way.

Dedicated to the Next 50
The world of precision manufacturing keeps evolving — new materials, new tolerances, new expectations. We are evolving with it. Continued investment in state-of-the-art equipment, in our people, and in the communities that have stood by us means the next 50 years of Marksman Metals will be built on the same foundation that got us here, with the technology and talent to serve the next generation of customers.
To everyone who has worked here, partnered with us, ordered from us, or simply rooted for us along the way — thank you. Here’s to fifty more.
